Senior Structured Finance Analyst (f/m/d)

The HCOB Luxembourg hub has the following business activities: international corporates, asset-based lending, strategic investments and asset management for institutional clients. All of them are significant growth initiatives and hence, show a high need to attract and retain the best talents.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for underwriting credit transactions in accordance with HCOB's Prudent Underwriting Practice and credit standards; lead internal processing of credit transactions.
• Sparring with originators regarding potential credit risks and risk-mitigating structural elements
• In-depth analysis of potential transactions, including credit structures, balance sheet analysis, cash flow models, credit enhancement features. 
• Lead management in coordination with the responsible back office unit
• Presentation of the transaction to decision-makers and in internal committees
• Lead in negotiation of loan documentation and execution of transactions
• Ongoing monitoring of existing transactions and preparation of regular and ad hoc reports
• Analysis of amendments and preparation of draft decisions
• Day-to-day transaction processing including interaction with origination, clients, attorneys, third party advisors, etc.
• Voting and decision in accordance with own credit competence

Your profile

• Extensive experience in the analysis, structuring and underwriting of complex international corporate and structured finance transactions, including multi-asset class portfolio transactions, LBO transactions, etc.
• Formal training in corporate finance (bank training, university degree, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to deliver high quality results under time pressure
• Very good negotiating skills
• Very good presentation skills, including at board level
• High motivation to build up a new business field
• Very good written and spoken English skills
